dc.description.abstract	Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zabývá historií babictví od antiky až po současnost, vzděláváním a kompetencemi porodní asistentky v České republice a ve Velké Británii. Praktická část analyzuje data z dotazníkového šetření u porodních asistentek z České republiky a z Velké Británie. Získaná data jsou zde statisticky zpracována a na jejich základě jsou vyhodnoceny cíle a hypotézy.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical parts deal with history of midwives from antiquity to the present, education and competence of midwives in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The practical part is anylyzing data from a questionnaire survey of midwives in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. Obtained data are statistically processed and are evaluated on their objectives and hypotheses.	en
