Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl ukázat historický vývoj domácí péče během posledních několika století a popsat změny v pohledu společnosti na smrt a umírání. Dále bych chtěla vysvětlit pojmy jako je smrt, umírání, hospic, thanatologie a terminálně nemocný pacient. Cílem praktické části je zjistit názor sester pracujících v agenturách domácí péče a v mobilních hospicových zařízeních na smrt a umírání doma a na nemocničních odděleních. Praktickým výstupem této práce je zjistit překážky, které brání pacientům prožít konec svého života ve svém vlastním domově. |

The bachelor work?s purpose is to show historical development of home care and hospice care during the last few centuries and to describe changes in the society?s approach to death and dying. I would also like to explain the terms such death and dying, hospice, thanatology and terminally ill patient. The practical part?s aim is to determine different opinions of nurses working at home care agencies, which provide hospice home care on death and dying at home and at hospital wards. The outcome of the practical part of the thesis is to find out impediments that hinder to patients to live through the end of their lives at their own home. |
