Práce objasňuje pojmy okolo softwarových licencí a autorského práva. Vysvětluje důvody vzniku organizací na ochranu open source, rovněž se věnuje problematice softwarových patentů v kontextu legislativy Evropské unie. Pokračuje popisem licencí EULA, GNU GPL a v praktické části práce je srovnává z pohledu uživatele a programátora. V posledním bodě práce je nastíněna možnost právního postihu firem při porušení licenčních podmínek používaného software a finanční ztráty dané nevhodnou volbou licencí a/nebo služeb. |

The thesis is clearing up terms about software licensing and Copyright Law. The thesis explains reasons of origin of organization for protection of open source, likewise follows problems of software patents in context of legislative of European Union. The thesis continues explaining terms like EULA, GNU GPL and in practical part, there is comparison from user's side of view. Last juncture is focused on law sanctions for companies that break the license conditions of software, which they use. The last juncture is also focused on loss of money caused by misbecoming license choice. |
