Dominik Cipera

Abstract

The role of Dominik Cipera in the Company's development was quite irreplaceable. He had an exceptional trust of Tomas Bata and was able to implement many of his ideas. He ranked among the most important personalities of the Czechoslovak interwar economic life. The study monitors Cipera's growth in the Company's management from his arrival up to his forced departure from the Company's management. She describes his activity in the Company's management, in public functions as well as his support of the domestic resistance movement.
