| Abstract: | Health services in Zlín made many significant achievements in the interwar period. The study monitors efforts at improvement of the health condition of citizens of Zlín and it surroundings. It follows the foundation and development of the Bata Hospital and its financing. The hospital development plans, which were based on the latest research. The hospital did not serve only the Company employeers, but was intergrated into the system of health facilities of the Czechoslovakia. Industrial medicine was also developed in the Bata company. |
