Tomas Bata as a Pioneer and Innovator of Propagation

Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce je shrnout historii společnosti Baťa a popsat život a názory jejího zakladatele Tomáše Bati a popsat jeho přínos v rámci propagace a reklamy. V teoretické části je provedena historická rešerše zabývající se historií, vznikem a úspěchy společnosti Baťa, životem a názory jejího zakladatele Tomáše Bati a je v ní také popsána stručná historii propagace a reklamy na našem území v omezeném časovém období. V praktické části práce přinese souhrn propagačních metod společnosti Baťa a poté je srovná s dobovými materiály a se současnými propagačními metodami společnosti. Na závěr bude provedeno dotazníkové šetření ohledně povědomí o životě Tomáše Bati.

The aim of this work is to summarize the history of Bata and describe the life and ideas of its founder Tomas Bata and determine its contribution to the promotion and advertising. In the theoretical part the historical research dealing with the history, creation and success of Bata, life and beliefs of its founder Tomas Bata. It also describes the brief history of the promotion and advertising of our country in a limited period of time. The practical part will summarize the Bata company promotional methods and then com-pare them with contemporary materials and with the current methods of promotion. At the end of the questionnaire survey regarding awareness about the life of Tomas Bata.
