Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je provést finanční analýzu a zhodnotit finanční situaci společnosti Fatra, a.s.. Dále provést benchmarking vybraných ukazatelů s vybranými konkurenty a navrhnout doporučení na zlepšení její finanční situace. Práce je rozdělena do dvou základních částí. První část je teoretická a věnuje se základním teoretickým informacím a metodám. Popisuje cíle, uživatele, zdroje, metody finanční analýzy a benchmarking podniku. Druhá část je praktická, kde se teoretické znalosti z první části prolínají s reálnými daty firmy Fatra, a.s. a vytvářejí obraz finančního zdraví společnosti. Také je proveden benchmarking vybraných ukazatelů s vybranými konkurenty a sepsány doporučení pro lepší fungování společnosti. |

The principal objectives of this bachelor thesis are to carry out the financial analysis, and assess the financial situation, of Fatra, a.s. ("company"), benchmark the company's selected indicators against those of selected competitors, and propose recommendations for improving the company's financial situation. This thesis is divided into two basic parts. Part I is theoretical and deals with basic theoretical information and methods. It describes the company's objectives, users, sources, financial analysis methods, and benchmarking.
