Idyla je krátký nenarativní film, opírající se o dojem z málo známé skladby Leoše Janáčka, Idyla pro smyčcový orchestr, přesněji její první větu (Andante). Film neobsahuje žádný konkrétní děj, pouze rozpoznatelné, opakující se prvky a motivy. Klíčovou úlohu potom má samozřejmě provázanost s hudbou. Svět, v němž se odehrává, je snový odraz města Brna, kde také najdeme mnoho odkazů na skladatelovu tvorbu a život. Film se obecně zaměřuje na atmosféru a snové vidění světa; často používá pohled první osoby. Největší důraz byl ovšem kladen na vlastní výtvarnou techniku - jde o ručně malovanou animaci prašným pastelem. |

Idyll is a short non-narrative movie, based on the impression of the little-known composition by Leoš Janáček, Idyll for String Orchestra; more precisely, it's first movement (Andante). The film contains no specific plot, only recognizable and repeating elements and motifs. Of course, the link with music is of key importance. The world of Idyll is a dreamy reflection of the city of Brno, where we can also find many references to the composer's work and life. The movie generally focuses on the atmosphere and dreamy easthetics of the world; often uses the first person's view. However, the greatest emphasis was put on the art technique itself - it is a hand-drawn animation with soft pastel. |
