Diplomová práce se zabývá kruhem, jako základním geometrickým symbolem a zkoumá jeho duchovní přesah v architektuře. V teoretické části práce rozjímám nad symbolem kruhu a s ním spojenými symbolickými a filozofickými konotacemi, které se, do jisté míry, objevují také v rámci části praktické. Dále práce pokračuje rešeršemi, ve kterých zmiňuji zejména české, ale i zahraniční autory, se kterými shledávám podobný inspirační zdroj. Na začátku praktické části zdůvodňuji zvolené médium, představuji výstavní prostor a uvádím výběr děl k finální instalaci a postup, jakým jednotlivá díla vznikala tak, aby fungovala v konkrétním prostoru. Pokračuji popisem jejich výroby. V konečné fázi praktické části přikládám návrh podoby instalace. Konečným východiskem je série kinetických objektů, které otáčením a drolením pod svou vlastní vahou vepisují do prostoru kružnici. |

The diploma thesis deals with the circle as a basic geometric symbol and examines its spiritual overlap in architecture. In the theoretical part of the work I meditate on the symbol of the circle and the associated symbolic and philosophical connotations, which also appear within the practical part, in certain extent. The work continues with research, in which I mention mainly Czech, but also foreign authors, with whom I find a similar source of inspiration. At the beginning of the practical part, I justify the chosen medium, present the exhibition space and present the selection of works for the final installation and the procedure by which the individual works were created to function in a specific space. I continue with a description of their production. In the final phase of the practical part, I enclose a design of the installation. The final starting point is a series of kinetic objects that, by turning and crumbling under their own weight, inscribe a circle into space. |
