Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku nezaměstnanosti, zejména na problematiku nezaměstnanosti žen, které patří na trhu práce mezi znevýhodněné sociální skupiny. Práce je věnována teoriím, příčinám a důsledkům nezaměstnanosti, diskriminaci na trhu práce, politice zaměstnanosti, aplikaci finančních zdrojů z fondů Evropské unie a vzniku, činnostem a přínosu Informačního a poradenského centra v Praze jako alternativní formy pomoci pro nezaměstnané a nezaměstnaností ohrožené. |
