Bakalářská práce se zabývá správnými postupy při zavádění periferního žilního katétru. Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit, do jaké míry sestry dodržují správné postupy při ošetřování periferního žilního katétru. Bakalářská práce je rozdělená do dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část nám představí základní informace o periferním žilním katétru, včetně historie jeho vzniku, druhů kanyl a krytí, doporučených standardů, kompetence vztahující se k jeho zavádění a ošetřování, i možné komplikace. Tímto nám poskytne komplexní přehled o této problematice a poslouží jako základ pro další zkoumání v praktické části práce. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativní metodologii, kde se využije metoda zúčastněného pozorování s následnou analýzou dokumentů. Výsledek práce zhodnotí, zda všeobecné sestry dodržují doporučené standardy a identifikuje oblasti, kde dochází k nesprávnému ošetřování. |

The bachelor thesis deals with the correct procedures for peripheral venous catheter insertion. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the extent to which nurses follow the correct procedures when treating a peripheral venous catheter. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part will present basic information about the peripheral venous catheter, including its history, types of cannulas and coverage, recommended standards, competencies related to its insertion and care, and possible complications. This will provide a comprehensive overview of the subject and serve as a basis for further investigation in the practical part of the thesis. The practical part is based on a qualitative methodology, where the method of participant observation followed by document analysis will be used. The outcome of the thesis will assess whether general nurses are adhering to the recommended standards and identify areas of inappropriate care. |
