Cílem práce je posouzení finančního zdraví a výkonnosti podniku XYZ a.s. Smyslem je společnost pečlivě analyzovat, odhalit nedostatky a navrhnout způsoby, jak zlepšit její finanční situaci. Práce se dělí na dvě části. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici a principy finanční analýzy, význam účetních výkazů a popis jednotlivých metod, včetně poměrové analýzy, rozdílových ukazatelů a grafických nástrojů, jako je spider analýza. Praktická část aplikuje vybrané metody a poznatky finanční analýzy na konkrétní podnik, pomocí kterých je podnik následně hodnocen. Využity jsou metody absolutních, rozdílových a poměrových ukazatelů, Du Pontova rozkladu, spider analýzy, souhrnné ukazatele (Altmanovo Z-skóre, Index IN05, Kralickův Quicktest) a EVA. Výsledky analýzy jsou následně interpretovány a porovnávány s konkurencí z odvětví. Závěr práce obsahuje doporučení pro zlepšení finančního řízení a strategického plánování podniku. |

The aim of this thesis is to assess the financial health and performance of XYZ a.s. The purpose is to carefully analyze the company, identify weaknesses and suggest ways to improve its financial situation. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the definition and principles of financial analysis, the importance of financial statements and a description of the various methods, including ratio analysis, difference indicators and graphical tools such as spider analysis. The practical part applies selected methods and findings of financial analysis to a specific enterprise, which is then used to evaluate the enterprise. The methods used are absolute, difference and ratio indicators, Du Pont decomposition, spider analysis, summary indicators (Altman's Z-score, IN05 index, Kralick's Quicktest) and EVA. The results of the analysis are then interpreted and compared with industry competitors. The thesis concludes with recommendations for improving the financial management and strategic planning of the company. |
