dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá morfosyntaxí onomatopoií označující zvuky zvířat v angličtině a ukrajinštině. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak jsou onomatopoie označující zvuky zvířat lexikalizovány, a porovnat morfosyntaktické rysy obou jazyků. Tato práce zkoumá, které onomatopoie označující zvuky zvířat lze lexikalizovat a do jaké míry jsou lexikalizovány v obou jazycích. Pro účely analýzy byly shromážděny příklady onomatopoií označujících zvuky zvířat z korpusů, aby bylo možné analyzovat a porovnat jejich použití. Poté byly porovnány morfologické formy lexikalizovaných onomatopoií. Práce ukazuje, že onomatopoie označující zvuky zvířat v angličtině a ukrajinštině jsou lexikalizovány jako slovesa nebo podstatná jména, a jakmile je primární onomatopoie přiřazena k určité slovní kategorii, plní všechny morfosyntaktické funkce, které jsou spojeny se slovní kategorií, ke které byla přiřazena. Práce tak nabízí pohled na morfosyntaktickou analýzu onomatopoií označující zvuky zvířat.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis studies the morphosyntax of animal onomatopoeias in English and Ukrainian. The aim of the thesis is to determine how animal onomatopoeias are lexicalized and compare morphosyntactic features of two languages. The question that this thesis explores is what animal onomatopoeias can be lexicalized and to what extent they are lexicalized in both languages. For the purpose of the analysis, I gathered the instances of animal onomatopoeias from corpora to analyse and compare the real-life usage of animal onomatopoeias. Then, the morphological forms of the lexicalized onomatopoeias were compared. This study determined that English and Ukrainian animal onomatopoeias are lexicalized as verbs or nouns, and once primary onomatopoeia is reassigned to a particular word category, it fulfils all the conventional morphosyntactic functions that are associated with the word category it was assigned to. Thus, the thesis offers an insight into morphosyntactic analysis of animal onomatopoeias.
