dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá, jak český dabing filmu Mamma Mia! přetváří původní anglické dialogy: nejen po významové stránce, ale také z hlediska rytmu, tónu a performativní funkce. Namísto pevného teoretického rámce se analýza zaměřuje na tři jazykové roviny, kde k posunům dochází nejvýrazněji: lexikální (s důrazem na metafory a idiomy), syntaktickou a pragmaticko-diskurzivní. Každá z nich odhaluje jiný typ změny v závislosti na tom, co si konkrétní scéna žádá a jak na to jazyk dokáže reagovat. Smyslem práce není hodnotit, ale porozumět: co se v překladu mění, jaký to má důvod, a proč výsledek často funguje i tehdy, když se formou odchyluje. Dabing je zde vnímán jako způsob kreativního převyprávění, kde překlad má svůj vlastní hlas, načasování i způsob. Výsledkem není kopie, ale vlastní verze, která rezonuje podle vlastních pravidel.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This Bachelor's thesis explores how the Czech dubbing of Mamma Mia! reinterprets the original English dialogue: not just in terms of meaning, but through rhythm, tone, and performative function. Rather than testing a fixed theory, the work focuses on three levels where change tends to unfold most visibly: lexical (especially metaphors and idioms), syntactic, and pragmatic-discursive. Each level offers a different shift, which depends on what the scene demands and how language responds to those constraints. The analysis is not concerned with evaluation, but with insight: what happens when something is altered, and why it might feel right even if it is not "equivalent." As the thesis argues, Dubbing is less about direct transfer and more about creative alignment: a process where translation becomes voice, timing, and mood. The result is not a replica, but a version that resonates in its terms.
